Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Shilling, 1559-1560, second issue (1560-1561), without rose or date, Bust 3C, m.m. cross crosslet/cross crosslet. Obv. Crowned bust facing left wearing dress with collar. Rev. Cross fourchée on shield of arms within beaded inner circle. Housed in N/A. 6.23g, die axis 11h (S.2555; North 1985). Lightly toned and evenly struck with only minor weakness, all main features nicely detailed on the pleasing portrait. Good very fine.
