Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Penny, 1560-1561, London mint, first issue, Bust 3H – line on dress between straps., m.m. martlet/martlet. Obv. Crowned bust facing left wearing dress with collar. Rev. Cross fourchée on shield of arms within beaded inner circle. 0.72g, die axis 1h (S.2558; North 1988). Very fine and scarce.
