Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Shilling, 1560-1561, second issue (1560-1561), bust 1A, m.m. cross crosslet/cross crosslet. Obv. Large crowned bust facing left, wearing bodice with pearls. Rev. Shield of arms within inner beaded circle, over long cross forchée. 6.01g, die axis 9h (S.2555A; North 1985). Nicely toned on a full flan, a pleasing coin. Very fine and rare.
