Elizabeth I 1582-1600 Silver Halfpenny – A bold VF

Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Halfpenny, 1582-1600, sixth issue (1582-1600), m.m. none on obverse only. Obv. Portcullis within beaded circle. Rev. Cross moline, three pellets in each angle. 0.32g, 10.29mm, (S.2581; North 2018). Lightly toned, struck on a large flan with some lustre, an excellent example of this small and popular denomination. A bold very fine.
