George I (1714-1727), copper Farthing, 1719, second issue, small obverse letters., edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 4.96g, die axis 6h (S.3662; Peck 812). A little weakness of strike to the high points, otherwise with a captivating flashy, silvery, glossy tone over virtually untouched fields, an alluring coin, choice with all George I copper issues becoming very hard to find in this condition. Extremely fine or better.
