George II (1727-1760), copper Farthing, 1739, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 5.17g, die axis 6h (S.3720; Peck 869). Toned with some lustre on either side, the reverse more so, a worthy example. A bold extremely fine.

Formerly slabbed and graded by PCGS as MS64 BN (now removed from slab) with accompanying slab ticket.
