George II (1727-1760), silver Sixpence, 1739, edge milled diagonally. Obv. Young laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, garter star in centre, roses in angles, date split by English crown. Die axis 6h (S.3708; Bull 1749). Beautifully toned with some lustre, a problem free coin with much eye appeal. Choice extremely fine.
Slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62.
