George II (1727-1760), copper Halfpenny, 1742, second issue, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 10.20g, die axis 6h (S.3718; Peck 872). A superb coin, well struck with a deep brown patina over problem free fields. Choice good extremely fine.
