George II (1727-1760), silver Shilling, 1743, roses in angles, edge milled diagonally. Obv. Old laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, garter star in centre, roses in angles, date split by English crown. 6.00g, die axis 6h (S.3702; Bull 1720). Tiny mark to cheek, otherwise problem free, with a pleasing purple iridescent tone. Good very fine.
