George II (1727-1760), copper Farthing, 1749, edge plain. Obv. Old laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 4.90g, die axis 6h (S.3722; Peck 889). A couple of tiny spots under magnification, otherwise evenly toned and appealing in this state of preservation. Good extremely fine, the reverse near so, rare and desirable in this condition.
