George II (1727-1760), silver Halfcrown, 1750, edge VICESIMO QVARTO. Obv. Old laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Crowned cruciform shields, garter star in centre, angles plain, date split by English crown. Die axis 6h (S.3696; Bull 1692). A delightful steely grey even tone, a pleasing example. Slabbed and graded by NGC as AU58.
