George III (1760-1820), copper Halfpenny, 1771, London (Tower) mint, first issue, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 10.40g, die axis 6h (S.3774; Peck 896). Small spot on neck else with a delightful even, brown patina. Extremely fine.
