George III (1760-1820), copper Farthing, 1775, first issue, Obverse 1, V of GEORGIVS over inverted A, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 5.24g, die axis 6h (S.3775). Minted from slightly rusty dies, otherwise well struck with hints of lustre, a highly desirable variety, especially so in this condition. Good extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
