George III (1760-1820), copper Halfpenny, 1775, London (Tower) mint, first issue, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 10.35g, die axis 6h (S.3774; Peck 908). Toned, problem free, brown surfaces, the reverse especially pleasing – Britannia with excellent hair and facial detail. Extremely fine.
