George III (1760-1820), gold Guinea, 1777, early coinages, edge milled vertically. Obv. Fourth laureate head facing right. Rev. Crowned shield of arms, date split by crown. 8.36g, die axis 6h (S.3728; EGC 695). Some light hairlines otherwise nicely toned with hints of red to the periphery. Very fine.
