George III (1760-1820), copper Bronzed Proof Farthing, 1799, Birmingham mint, moneyer Soho Mint, late Soho (third issue), raised dot on truncation, m.m. SOHO on reverse only, edge grained in centre. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left above waves, ship to left, 1 FARTHING in legend. 6.36g, die axis 6h (S.3779; Peck 1276). Silvery coloured tone over brilliant fields, the devices with a cameo effect, a pleasing coin. Slabbed and graded by NGC as PF65 BN.
