George III (1760-1820), copper Proof Farthing, 1806, Birmingham mint, moneyer Soho Mint, fourth issue, K and incuse dot on truncation, portrait 2, edge grained in centre. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left above waves, ship to left, exergue plain. 4.74g, die axis 6h (S.3782; Peck 1389). A beautiful light brown tone over flashy and practically flawless fields, the devices with a pleasing cameo effect. As Struck.
Formerly slabbed and graded by NGC as PF65 BN (now removed from slab) with accompanying slab ticket.
