George III (1760-1820), copper Gilt Proof pattern Farthing, 1806, Birmingham mint, moneyer Soho Mint, fourth issue, K and incuse dot on truncation, portrait 1, m.m. SOHO on reverse only, edge grained in centre. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing right, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing left above waves, ship to left, K to left of shield. 4.79g, die axis 6h (S.3782; Peck 1387; Cooke 282). Some light hairlines, otherwise the fields with full mint brilliance, the devices frosted giving them a pleasing cameo effect. Virtually as Struck.

Formerly slabbed and graded by NGC as PF63+ ULTRA CAMEO (now removed from slab) with accompanying slab ticket.
