George III (1760-1820), silver Three Shillings, 1811, Bank of England issue (1804-1816), Kings hair with single tie end and 5 berries in wreath, front leaf points to end of E in DEI, reverse oak wreath with 26 acorns, Type A1, edge plain. Obv. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Oak wreath containing BANK TOKEN 3 SHILL. over three lines above date. 14.79g, die axis 11h (S.3769; Bull 2063). The reverse with a small metal flaw to the wreath at 5 o’clock, otherwise lustrous, with a light grey tone with hints of blue. Extremely fine.
