George III (1760-1820), silver Three Shillings, 1814, Bank of England issue (1804-1816), second bust, edge plain. Obv. Laureate head facing right. Rev. Oak wreath containing BANK TOKEN 3 SHILL. over three lines above date. 14.60g, die axis 12h (S.3770; Bull 2083). Possibly once lightly wiped and now re-toned and a small spot behind kings head, otherwise with an appealing even steely grey tone, a nice example of the type. Good very fine/about extremely fine.
