George IV (1820-1830), copper Farthing, 1823, first issue (1821-1826), Obverse 2, leaf ribs incuse, T of BRITANNIAR has no lower left serif, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, date in exergue. 4.49g, die axis 6h (S.3822; Peck 1412). Some light cabinet friction to the high points, otherwise attractively toned with traces of lustre. Uncirculated.
