George IV (1820-1830), copper Farthing, 1825, first issue (1821-1826), Obverse 1, leaf ribs raised, D over U in DEI, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and draped bust facing left. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, date in exergue. 4.73g, die axis 6h (S.3822; Peck 1414; Cooke 256). Very light tone over lustrous fields, the over type clear, a delightful example of this desirable variety and seldom encountered in this condition. Choice uncirculated and very rare.

Formerly slabbed and graded by CGS UK as 85 (now removed from slab) with accompanying slab ticket.
