George V (1910-1936), silver (.500) Crown, 1930, fourth coinage (1927-1936), ‘Wreath’ type, edge milled vertically. Obv. Modified bare head facing left. Rev. Large crown dividing date above, within wreath of roses and thistles. 28.35g, die axis 12h (S.4036; Bull 3638). A few trivial contact marks and the lightest of cabinet friction to the high points for completeness, otherwise subtly toned with flashy, lustrous fields and with good eye appeal. UNC or very near so and rated scarce by bull.
