Hadrian (AD 117-138), silver Denarius, AD 121-123, Rome mint. Obv. Laureate bust facing right. Rev. Providentia standing, facing left, holding sceptre, pointing at a globe at her feet, PRO AVG across fields. 3.15g, die axis 7h (Sear 3530 variant (RCV II); RIC 556; RSC 1199a). Some signs of metal stressing, otherwise hints of golden tone in the legends, over lustrous fields. Good very fine.
