Henry III (1216-1272), silver Penny, 1250-1272, Canterbury mint, moneyer Robert, voided ‘long cross’ coinage (1247-1279), Class 5g. Obv. Crowned facing bust within inner circle, holding sceptre. Rev. Voided long cross, three pellets in each angle. 1.45g, die axis 11h (S.1373). Toned with a slightly irregular flan. Good fine.
