Henry V (1413-1422), gold Noble, broken annulet on side of ship, Class C, m.m. Pierced Cross on reverse only. Obv. King standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, mullet by sword arm, broken annulet on side of ship. Rev. Floriate cross with lis at ends within tressure of eight arcs, crowned lions in angles, quatrefoil in single quarter by lions head, fleurs in spandrels, ‘h’ in centre. 6.85g, die axis 12h (S.1742; North 1371). Some light contact marks and a small area of weakness to the reverse, otherwise of sound fabric with a nice portrait of the King. Very fine.
