Henry VI (1422-1461), gold Noble, London mint, first reign (1422-1461), annulet issue (1422-c.1430), m.m. lis on reverse only. Obv. King standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield. Rev. Floriate cross with lis at ends, crowned lions in angles, ‘h’ in centre. 5.99g, die axis 6h (S.1799; North 1414). Lightly clipped, else a delightful coin with an excellent portrait. Extremely fine for issue.
