Crowned profile bust facing right, legend he’ric vii di gra rex agl z, saltire stops Rev. Long cross forchée over square topped shield of arms, legend posvi dev adivtorev mev, saltire stops. 1.57g, die axis 1h (S.2261; North 1750). A few minor scuffs and areas of weakness otherwise deeply toned on a full and round flan and with a good provenance. A bold fine or better and rare with this legend reading.
