Horse facing right, corded motif above, two pellets in each sector, pelleted ring behind, eight-spoked wheel below. 5.56g, (ABC 1420; John Talbot ‘Made For Trade’ (p178 for type)). The reverse a little off centre as is usual for this type, else the details bold and in high relief, the metal a pleasing pale gold in colour with underlying lustre, a desirable and pleasing example of this highly sought after type.
