Iceni, gold Stater, c. 65-45 BC, Freckenham Crescents, Phallic type, Talbot Boar Horse C. Obv. Opposed back to back crescents, twin pellets either side, star above and star beneath exergual line. Rev. Horse facing right, sun below, phallic shape above and pellets around. 5.39g, (S.426; ABC 1450; VA 620-9; BMC 3385). A pleasing and well centred example. Rare.
