James I (1603-1625), silver Shilling, 1623-1624, third coinage, sixth bust, m.m. lis/lis. Obv. Crowned, laced collar bust facing right, value behind in roman numerals. Rev. Shield. 5.99g, (S.2668). The obverse a little softly struck, otherwise nicely toned on full flan. A bold very fine.
