Julia Mamaea (AD 222-235), silver Denarius, AD 230, Rome mint. Obv. Draped and diademed bust facing right. Rev. Felicitas seated facing left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae. 3.40g, die axis 8h (Sear 8210 (RCV II); RIC 338; RSC 24). Only light cabinet friction to the highpoints, otherwise with a pleasant light tone and much underlying lustre, good eye appeal. Choice extremely fine.
