Maximianus (AD 286-305), silver Argenteus, AD 295-297, Rome mint. Obv. Laureate head facing right. Obv. The four tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod-alter with military camp in background with six turrets 2.71g, die axis 11h (Sear 13094 (RCV IV); RIC VI 37b; RSC 548g). Well centered with full outer beading visible on both sides, lightly toned with hints of iridescence and much lustre. Extremely fine.
