Philip & Mary (1554-1558), silver Sixpence, 1557, London (Tower) mint, English titles only, m.m. lis/lis. Obv. Face-to-face busts, crown above dividing date. Rev. Mark of value divided by crown above oval shield of arms. 3.10g, die axis 7h (S.2506; North 1971). Some areas of weak strike however a pleasantly toned piece struck on a full and unusually neat and round flan. Very fine and rare.
