Titus (AD 79-81), silver Denarius, AD 80, Rome mint, edge milled vertically. Obv. Laureate bust facing right. Rev. Winged thunderbolt on draped table 3.30g, die axis 1h (Sear 2513 (RCV I); RIC 119). A small, barely visible, mark to cheek, not detracting from this otherwise sumptuous coin, well centered and of excellent metal, the peripheral tone with golden hues, the devices bold and sharp, a lustrously choice example. Practically as struck.
