Trajan Decius (AD 249-251), silver Antoninianus, AD 251, Rome mint. Obv. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. The two Pannoniae standing right and left, clasping hands in front of a standard at centre. 4.64g, die axis 12h (Sear 9380 var. (RCV III); RIC 41b). The reverse a little soft, nonetheless the portrait captivating and the fields radiant through a subtle tone, the obverse in particular with real eye appeal, a delightful coin. Extremely fine.
