Victoria (1837-1901), copper Proof Farthing, 1839, Young Head, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 4.64g, die axis 6h (S.3950; Peck -). A few light spots that do not detract from this otherwise alluring coin, delightful light tone with blue/purple hues, a desirable rarity. As Struck and extremely rare.

Peck unlisted with inverted die axis (see P.1558, pg. 412 for similar). No examples in Cooke, Oxford or Douglas collections.
