Victoria (1837-1901), copper Farthing, 1849, ‘Young Head’ copper coinage (1838-1860), BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: (normal), edge plain. Obv. Young head facing left, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, emblems in exergue. 4.64g, die axis 12h (S.3950; Peck 1570). Tiny flan flaw above queens ear, otherwise problem free with hints of lustre in the legends, a desirable date coin, especially so in this state of preservation. About uncirculated and very rare in grade.
