Victoria (1837-1901), copper Farthing, 1853/2, ‘Young Head’ copper coinage (1838-1860), obverse 2, WW Raised, 3/2 in date, edge plain. Obv. Young head facing left, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, emblems in exergue. 4.67g, die axis 12h (S.3950; Peck 1575). A little soft in places, otherwise pleasantly toned with some lustre, this over-date not listed in Spink or Peck. Good extremely fine or better and scarce.
