Victoria (1837-1901), copper Halfpenny, 1853, ‘Young Head’ copper coinage (1838-1860), dots on shield, 3 of date altered, edge plain. Obv. Young head facing left, date below. Rev. Britannia seated facing right, emblems in angles. 9.79g, die axis 12h (S.3949; Peck 1539). Some light cabinet friction to the high points, otherwise very lightly toned with virtually full lustre. Brilliant uncirculated.

Formerly slabbed and graded by PCGS as MS65RB with accompanying slab ticket.
