Victoria (1837-1901), silver Sixpence, 1855, ‘Young Head’ coinage (1838-1887), type A1, edge milled vertically. Obv. Young head facing left. Rev. Crowned ‘SIX PENCE’ within wreath (no die number), date below. 2.83g, die axis 6h (S.3908; Bull 3193). A lovely deep cabinet tone brimming with golden lustre, a coin with good eye appeal. Extremely fine and scarce.
