Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1872, ‘Young Head’ coinage (1838-1887), Type A6, die no. 98, edge milled vertically. Obv. Young head facing left. Rev. Crowned ‘ONE SHILLING’ within wreath, die number below, above date. Die axis 6h (S.3906A; Bull 3042). A few light contact marks and a small spot to reverse, otherwise lightly toned to the periphery and with much original mint bloom, a pleasing example of this highly collected issue. Slabbed and graded by NGC as MS63+.
