Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1872, ‘Young Head’ coinage (1838-1887), third young head (Type A6, die no. 08), edge milled vertically. Obv. Young head facing left. Rev. Crowned ‘ONE SHILLING’ within wreath, die number below, above date. Die axis 6h (S.3906A). The tone somewhat patchy, nonetheless the fields with significant remaining lustre. Slabbed and graded by PCGS as MS64.
