Victoria (1837-1901), silver Sixpence, 1883, ‘Young Head’ coinage (1838-1887), Type A5, edge milled vertically. Obv. Young head facing left. Rev. Crowned ‘SIX PENCE’ within wreath (no die number), date below. 2.82g, die axis 6h (S.3912; Bull 3255). Just the slightest of cabinet friction to the high points, otherwise demonstrating a pleasant light steely grey tone with some underlying lustre. Choice uncirculated.
