Victoria (1837-1901), silver Florin, 1896, ‘Old Head’ coinage (1893-1901), edge milled vertically. Obv. Old veiled bust facing left. Rev. Crowned set of three shields within garter, dividing date below. 11.33g, die axis 12h (S.3939; Bull 2966). A few very light and trivial marks under magnification, otherwise a beautiful coin enhanced by a deep cabinet tone over lustrous fields, much eye appeal and choice. Practically uncirculated.
