Westbury type gold Stater, c.55-45 BC. Obv. Back-to-back crescents in centre of a crossed-wreath design, ornaments in angles. Rev. Horse facing right above wheel, sunburst to right, pellets above divided by wing motif. 5.68g, (ABC 2344; S.32; Sills British Lb1, class 1). The horse nice and central and visually very appealing, the ornaments bold. Scarce.
