William III (1694-1702), silver proof pattern Farthing, 1699, no stop after date, edge plain. Obv. Laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in legend, blank exergue. Die axis 6h (Peck 665). A simply wonderful example, ever so lightly toned only serving to enhance the over appeal of the coin, lustrous with full mint bloom and highly desirable in this condition. Choice, slabbed and graded by PCGS as PF64 Gold Shield.
