William & Mary (1689-1694), copper Farthing, 1694, Unbarred A’s in BRITANNIA, stop after MARIA, edge plain. Obv. Conjoined busts facing right, William laureate and cuirassed, Mary draped. Rev. Britannia seated facing left, date in exergue. 5.45g, die axis 6h (S.3453; Peck 622; Cooke 608). Small surface flaw by Britannia’s raised hand, otherwise nicely toned, the devices pleasingly highlighted against the fields, the unbarred A’s clear. Very fine and extremely rare.
