Voided short cross, annulet in centre, each quarter with annulet enclosing pellet. 1.06g, die axis 9h (S.1158; North 787). Demonstrating a pleasing deep grey old cabinet tone, with hints of underlying lustre, the portrait bold with just a single peck mark on the helmet, an impressive and choice piece. Almost extremely fine.
